We started Reno Outdoor Construction because we believed the high desert deserved better landscaping — work that respects the land, lasts through the seasons, and makes homeowners proud every time they step outside.
How We Got Here
Reno Outdoor Construction grew out of a simple frustration: too many landscapers treating Northern Nevada like it was California. Importing plants that couldn't survive the cold winters. Laying sod that turned brown by August. Ignoring the unique character of high desert soil.
We set out to do it differently. Every project we take on starts with the land itself — its slope, its soil, its sun exposure, its relationship to the surrounding neighborhood. We design landscapes that belong here, not landscapes transplanted from somewhere else.
Over the years we've built patios, retaining walls, planting beds, and full backyard transformations for hundreds of Reno homeowners. Each one taught us something. Each one made us better. And each one reinforced why we do this work: to give people an outdoor space they genuinely love.
